Blu-ray Tutorial 9: Multiple Buttons per BOG in Scenarist

This is my 9th tutorial on Blu-ray authoring. This time we go over having multiple buttons per Button Overlay Group (BOG). Now why would you do that? I asked the same question when I first started designing menus with Designer.

The main reason is for toggling buttons. In the tutorial we have a subtitle On and Off button that switches out the “X” in the box back and fourth. We’ll also go over the EnableButton and DisableButton Navigation Commands. Does that all make sense? Probably not, but check out the screencast if this is something you can use.

can we import unsliced Photoshop files in to scenarist using plug in scenarist designer..
    please reply

Yes, you can export without slicing anything. Just create a 1920×1080 project and export with Sonic Designer. Then right click the layer in Designer (on the right) and choose to export. You can choose either 8-bit or 32-bit, but I think you’ll have problems importing 32 into Scenarist.

Hi, I’ve seen all of your HDMV tutorials; I’d be very glad if you made one about how to create a proyect in the Scenario Editor with its respective links.
Another question is where can I find the 4.5 version of Sonic Scenarist Blu Ray, or the Scenaris Designer plug-in for Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Thank you very much in advance.
You’re making a very good job.

4.5 is available through the Sonic support site if you own it. If not, I can’t help you out too much. It requires a dongle so even if you did find it you wouldn’t be able to use it.

    Hi,
great tutorial! I have a question though, how do you connect those in the scenario workflow, I guess it’s the same for audio, when I click on the “on” button, how do I make scenarist use the audio stream 2, like commentary for example?

    Thanks!
