Make sure you check out this link, it explains what the issue is. I've never tried it as we only burn menus onto DVD for approvals:

Hi all.

I've just experienced a similar issue. The title was authored in Scenarist, however when replacing the .bdmv files the Top Menu wasn't working.

I will change the multiplexing options for the the menu and report back with my findings.

Cheers all.

The test we did was actually only a background and IG, so it may be that this doesn't work for more complicated titles. This may be just a way to burn menu builds. I'll look more into it when I get a minute.

hello

i tried this, after the muxing, if i replace index.bdmv and movieobject.bdmv (which was downloaded from the rapidshare link)and see the BDMV folder in total media player and in my PS3, only the navigations for the menu are working, the links to the movie is not working fine.

but without the replacement of the index and movieobject file it is playing fine in total media player.

pls comment on this,
thanks

I just checked the one we did, we used non-multiplexing and always on for the menu, then created two clips, one IG clip and one movie clip for the background video. Then we created a playlist and dropped the background video in and the IG in. Then dropped the playlist into the TopMenu.

I think that's it, I'm not sure why it would work for us and not for you.

Good luck.

I'm not sure why you are having problems. We did this for a forced on IG and it worked without any trouble. Maybe the pop-ups don't work on an AVCHD DVD. Or maybe it's how you authored the menus is different from how we did it and it doesn't like how you burned it.
